HOW TO DRAW:

Like i'm an expert! i do not really claim to be an artist, but i can draw! Trying to fit all of this into one page is impossible; there's just too much! Here i will describe the basics of drawing and how to use your computer to draw with. Actually it's a lot simpler to draw the old fashioned way: pencil and paper. Don't let anyone tell you different even though it is a lot easier to put the finishing touches on a pic using a computer.

Here's how i'm gonna do this:

• First i'll show you a finished pic
• then the first sketch
• and then i'll lead you through the steps to get the finished product
• the next page will discuss the best ways to save a pic.

The instructions i give assume you are going to save this as a .gif file. See my "How to Save" page (after going through these steps) on why this would probably be best for this pic.

Ok, this turned out kinda.... different! i guess along with a lesson on how to draw you are going to see how to put really BIG pics on your page. Let me clarify that because anyone can put big pics on a page, the secret is how to have them download to your visitor as quickly as possible.

These are all done in .gif format which doesn't compress as much as a .jpg format UNLESS you are doing line drawings. More on that next page; right now we are interested in how to make a pic...
